Beautifully situated in an elevated position, this delightful modern property enjoys magnificent panoramic views south, over the valley to Loch Linnhe and nearby Ben Nevis, To maximise the wonderful location, the living area is on the first floor and has a balcony to sit out and relax in the surrounding beauty and tranquility. The interior is bright and very well appointed and the property is semi-detached with the owner's home, in a quiet residential area.

Five miles from the centre of historic Fort William, Banavie lies on the famed Road to the Isles and is at the west end of the Caledonian Canal where boats descend to sea level by a spectacular series of locks known as Neptune's Staircase. There is an excellent hotel/restaurant within walking distance, local shops are one mile and further retail and leisure facilities including a distillery visitor centre in Fort William. Outdoor activities include mountain biking trails, climbing, walking, golf, angling, sailing, water sports and winter sports.

Ground Floor: 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (cot available), shower-room. First Floor: Open plan living/dining/kitchen with balcony. Cooking by electricity, oil-fired central heating. "Lovely Self-Catering with Fantastic View of Ben Nevis"

Lovely, modern, and well-maintained self-catering two-story apartment with amazing view to Ben Nevis and toward Fort William & Loch Linnhe. Has two bedrooms (2 singles in one, double bed in other) and bathroom on ground floor. Large family room with modern kitchen, TV/DVD on second floor. Lovely balcony to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Ideal for family with older teens as they have their own room and access to wifi (also charging dock for ipods). Location is also excellent. Neptune's staircase, Caledonian Canal, village of Caol with shops, and two restaurants within very easy walking distance (5-15 minutes). Fort William about 3 miles walk with footbridge at Caol via ruins of old Inverlochy castle so you don't have to walk along main road -- comes out at the large Morriston's and ruin of Fort William (can rent bikes in village of Inverlochy on the way). Easy drive to all locations and surrounding mountain ranges. Good for families who are self-sufficient. Would definitely book here again as we very much enjoyed our time there.
