Lochaber offers a myriad of activities - energetic guests may wish to explore the Nevis Range with its unique Gondola, mountain trails and downhill mountain bike track, skiing, boarding and winter climbing. Fishing, golf and hill-walking are readily available and for the less active there is a popular distillery nestling in the foothills of Ben Nevis or take a day trip to Oban or Fort William. In nearby Ballachulish there are seafood restaurants, a general store and post office.
